Update: RUSA has cancelled all Brevets through May.  The San Francisco Randonneurs have postponed the Golden Gate 1000k to a new tentative date of September 10th, 2020 as part of our revised event calendar.  We’ll keep you up to date as more information is available.
The 2020 Golden Gate 1000k is a challenging ride through some of Northern California’s less-traversed back roads.  Riders will see a variety of landscape and terrain including the California Delta, Mendocino National Forest, Coastal Redwoods, the Pacific Coast, hot springs, inland mountains, vineyards and finally the Golden Gate Bridge crossing into San Francisco.  Featuring about 100 miles of gravel roads and 38,000 feet of climbing, the Golden Gate 1000k will humble riders with its beauty, isolation and difficulty.  We start on September 10th in Berkeley and finish in San Francisco.  If you have any questions or comments, please contact us at goldengate1000k@gmail.com.  You can follow us on Instagram for stories and photos from the route.
